Changes from 2000 to 2015

I've been concentrating on the 2000's, particularly the early 2000's, but lately I've started expanding to up to 2015. I did notice that somewhere along the way the GVWR of the 34' went up from 9800 pounds to 11,500 pounds. What other changes/improvements were made during those 15 years? We're focusing mainly on 30' and longer, but we're willing to look at a 28 footer.


Along the same lines, were there some changes that were more of a step backwards during that time?

I'd venture that the 11,500# trailer weights you see may be from the era of the slide outs.

Yes, the page I saw the 11,500 did have slide-outs on it. Interestingly, both the non-slide and the slide had the same GVWR (11,500), even though the slide version was heavier.

I believe 2015 was the first year of the quiet air ducted AC.

GVWR May be the same, but I suspect cargo weight was less.
