1995 19' Bambi white top?

We purchased our 1995 19' Bambi in May, and I guess we were so excited we didn't really notice it has a white top. We now have streaks running down the sides of the trailer from the top. What is this white top? Has anyone had their's removed? Is there aluminum underneath? Or do I have to have it cut out and a new roof installed? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Might be paint

I think white painted roofs were a factory option at some point.
If so, strip it off and I am sure there is aluminum underneath.

New trailers have white tops. Yours is probably old paint drying out.

Wash the top really well with car wash soap. Cover the body below the white portion with paper or sheet plastic, to protect from overspray. Get Rustoleum spray can clear coat and coat over the paint. It works well and depending on how you can handle a spray can, gives a nice smooth surface. 1 day job on a 19 footer.

The top of your Airstream, came that way. The white streaks are from oxidation of the paint on top, getting wet from rain, etc ... and running down the sides. If you wash the top, let it dry well, and then wax it, it should not have streaks any longer. Good idea to wax the rest of the Bambi at the same time. Good luck with it!

I have a 2016 Bambi Sport...It comes with a white roof...Yours may have lost its gloss...Wash the top with water and a cleaner...Rinse, and wax it....That will give it protection from the rain, which is causing it to run down the sides....
