I was in Yoga class and the instructor said "Put your hand on your hip" and I said "AND LET YOUR BACKBONE SLIP"! (With much enthusiasm)

No one got it.....I think that was the 1st time that has ever happened to me, that I was enough older than everyone else (even thou some were in their 40s) that they didn't have a clue what i meant. I was kind of embarrassed

The young mechanic who will be repairing your car makes the remark: "I have read about these monsters but this is the first time that I have ever seen one."

I heard this exact remark this summer when a young Cadillac mechanic was assigned the task of changing the oil and lubricating my '75 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible . . . . that "acre" of hood weighs more than two or three of the hoods on more modern vehicles and the combination 501 cubic inch V8 and front drive tansaxle makes for a massive assemblage of iron and steel under the hood.
