Go to Youtube.com and type in Hensley hitch - I don't know whether you have the newer snap up brackets or the older style that are tightened with a wrench but you ought to get a lot of information as there are many videos available.

Try calling Hensley. I don't have their hitch, but have bought other things from them. They've been wonderful to deal with over the telephone.

Also try calling CanAm RV. They're a legend where hitch setup is concerned.

Can Am is in London, Ontario. Worth the drive and may also be able to surmount any language barrier more easily.

Besides also contacting Hensley see the HAHA thread on this hitch.

What I do:
On a level surface, before hooking the trailer to the tow vehicle, measure the height of the fender openings at the center of the two front wheels of the tow vehicle.

After hooking up the trailer to the tow vehicle the measurement will be slightly higher. Adjust the bars, each being equally tensioned, until the measurements returns to approximately to the unloaded height.

Some people use more tension, to add additional weight to the front axle. Your tow vehicle owner manual may indicate which is correct for your vehicle.

Socool69, if you are still having a problem after following the excellent advice from A W Warn, try to contact Tino643. He is from the Montreal area and most likely will be able to help. Jim

We have similar tow vehicles and I crank the jack barrels up full blast with 3 holes showing on the spring bar link. Seems to work ok. Jim
