Somebody with a 31' Late 70's Airstream

Can you give me the measurements of the biggest rubbermaid type contained that I'd be able to fit in the front top overhead storage areas over the gaucho?

8" from the bottom lip to the rear. 4" high 7'" from the frame to the rear. 6' inches high 5 3/4" from the frame to the rear.

Ask an easy one next time.

in cross section these compartments look like a triangle with a curved back side. As you go "up" the back wall is creeping forward until the depth is zero at the top. So, 4" inches up from the bottom the depth has decreased to 7". At 6" up, the depth has decreased to 5-3/4". And so forth. Bottom line is, they don't have enough depth to hold squat, maybe a shoe box.
