Removing Construction Adhesives

The interior of our brand new Flying Cloud 25RB has many surfaces where excess laminate construction adhesive was left by careless work. Our shower has several places where the adhesive/caulk they use in the shower is all over the place as well.

What adhesives are they using and what have you found that removes it without damage? I'm not too worried about the laminate but the shower is too nice to damage it with the wrong chemicals.

Aggravating that the product went out the door in this condition. If this had been done by a contractor at my house, they would be back cleaning it up.

Would it not be better let your dealer handle the issue? Problems in a newly purchased unit should be taken care of by the dealer. I know of nothing that will remove construction adhesive and you will most likely make things worse if you attempt the job yourself.

Yep. I was hoping to avoid dealing with the dealer and their schedule but I'm going to put it on the list because while we were cleaning today, I noticed the inside of the door window was wiped by somebody with a chemical that left a permanent haze and smear marks. It will not come off and I suspect the window will need to be replaced.
