removing decal from window

We have a 2004 25' Classic. The rear window has the remnants of a decal. I didn't see this until we had traveled a gravel road. The dust had collected on the decal remnants but not on the remainder of the window. I am thinking of using goo-be-gone. Suggestions? Thanks.

For challenging sticker removals, I start with WD40 as a Pre application. Spray on and then use a razor blade to lightly squeegee the area. Next, use goo be gone and use the razor blade to squegee. I then clean up with a glass cleaner.

Thanks for the comments. I just did not want to damage the window.

Decal and Other Sticky Residue Removal

Even though it's a vertical surface, you can also try smearing some Goop or Gojo hand cleaner on it. Just leave it alone and reapply in :30 or so and let sit for a couple of hours.

Should wipe off easily.

BTW--you can use either product safely on a variety of clothing stains rather than the expensive and less-effective pre-wash treatments like Shout, et al. Let sit overnight and then launder normally.
