Missing Screen door

I am looking at purchasing a 1975 Argosy 28', screen door is missing. Anyone have a source for one?

I have checked with several Airstream salvage yards, nada. Wow! How do you go camping without a screen door? My girls Molly and Ginger would hate it!(Silky Terriers).

In looking at my units, the screen door is such an integral part of the door system, hinges, and frame, that I don't know how you will ever find one that is not part of a complete door system. If the hinges are still there, maybe you could rivet a new screen part onto them but otherwise I think you are into a major repair/replacement. It may be one to pass, or reduce the price by at least $1000 for a new door (installed).

Thank you idroba. I think I am going to pass on this one. The screen door, along with other issues, makes me concerned about cost of bringing this one back. All the other probs, floors, black tank valve stuck, missing trim pieces. Time for me to move on.

c lewis77, thank you. I did not think to call the mothership. Yes, they have the complete assembly in stock, current price is $500. OUCH. That was my wallet screaming.

There's one sitting at an old trailer service company here in Columbus. The problem is shipping it to someone who is in need.

There is a product called, "Magic Mesh Hands free screen door," that might work at least until you can find a real one. We bought one at Bed Bath & Beyond, for about $12 to use temporarily on a back garage door. Shocked at how well it functions. Says on the box, "fits single doors, sliding doors, RVs & more." Just an option

Looks good, but I am not close to NC, if shipping is not to costly I am interested.
