'53 Cruiser lock / deadbolt does anyone know what goes here
does anyone know what the lock mechanism looks like that goes on this door and where to get one?

The lock was very common and should be easy to find on eBay perhaps.

Did you ever find out what goes there - make and model? I just bought a '53 Cruiser and I need to do the same thing. I also need the door knob. Do you know what that is?
