Television replacement

I would like to replace the forward TV in my 2012 Flying Cloud with a smart TV. I am sure some of you have done this and I am looking for the best replacement. Something with ease of replacement.
Thanks
Chris

Most TVs will work fine, that's the best advise most can give without some hints.
How big is current TV?
Do you want same size? What size do you want?
If you want bigger how much room is there?

Do you want to get one that is 12v?

Chris,
We found a 32” Samsung 1080 smart tv that fits nicely and was a big improvement in picture quality. I did have to install DAC to connect the RCA jacks to the trailer’s sound system but everything works. Not sure if your 2012 has a similar setup.

WE bought a 2008 AS which had the old-type TV which doesn’t work on the new HD frequency-band… and picked one up at WalMart (21”-?) for $99 which was a direct-fit on the existing swing-out mount.
Although it had a 120 Volt AC power cord…it actually had a small “brick” incorporated in the cord which converted it to 12 volt DC…. so we were able to discard the 120 volt cord and (don’t recall if I kept it and used an electronics-store adaptor-plug…or if I cut the plug off the cord and wired it into the AS 12-volt outlet at the antenna amplifier….) but that meant it was useable on the AS battery whether we were plugged into shore power or not.

We also bought a CD/DVD/BluRay player that is 12V and can watch movies etc even if we’re boondocking.

Here’s one at Walmart for $89. You will have to look at it to see if it also is a 120VAC-12VDC power-cord-type…but I suspect it is.

Purchased one of these on Black Friday sale. Nice and thin, mounted easy, excellent picture and resolution, kinda pricey. Hoping to use the bluetooth speaker connection to my stereo but have not tried it yet.

We went with the “cheap and cheerful” option. 32” Vizio in the lounge area and a 28” Vizio in the bedroom. They are not on par with Samsung in terms of picture and probably not in quality either, but they are both smart TVs (the stock Samsungs were not) and do a pretty good job for what we need.
