Red face Water pump repair 2008 AS Safari 23 ft.

Been full time living in my 23 ft. Safari 1 1/2 years in rural san Diego county. Had just filled water tank when water pump just stopped. Need info of where pump is located & what kind of pump to buy to replace it. Also is this a job I can do myself? TIA.

Maybe you tripped a breaker or blew a fuse in the 12V system. That's the first thing to check. If the pump is bad its not too difficult to replace -- as long as the access is good and you are a little bit handy. I can't help you on the location, not having had that model before. The owners manual should tell you where to look for the pump and the 12V panel.

I found the owners manual on line. It says pump is behind the lower front face panel on the roadside wardrobe. It is hinged or, on the front bed model, the panel is removable with a pressure catch and the lower wardrobe shelf is removable.
