I don't currently have a stool in my 1960 Safari and would like advice on whether to install a vintage or new unit. The rest of the trailer is vintage, but it sounds like there are a lot of issues with the old stools. New stools use as litte as a pint of water but don't seem to be available in pink.
Can you find a vintage toilet? The one for your Airstream had a vacuum break type flush mechanism. Very had to find parts for. I finally went with a Sealand. Good luck! Let us know what you decide.

VACUUM BREAK......so that's what that's for! I had to shut mine down because the copper feed line has freeze damage. The 'sprayer' supply line is connected there also. Never needed that.

I love the vintage look but finding parts can be a pain. If it were mine I'd go with a new unit. I'm partial to the one's with built in seat warmers and a magazine rack.

The Sealand Traveler 500 series is top of the line for comfort and accomodation. Be sure it will fit before you buy one. Here is the size comparison between the SeaLand and the original Saniware.
