Bubble filter

There isn't room for both the bubble filter & the Camco Winterizing device in the compartment without shifting the pump. Can I leave the bubble filter off?

What's a bubble filter? I've been doing this for a long time, and never heard of one. Is it a brand name for a water filter?

If you are talking about the strainer with the see through bubble cap that is adjacent to the pump, the answer is: it is necessary to filter incoming water from the fresh water tank, to keep trash out of the water pump. One grain of grit can make the pump stop working.

When I've installed winterizing kits, sometimes I've had to move things into different positions to make room. You might move the pump, relocate pipes, or add fittings as necessary.

ps:
Keep the strainer between the winterizing valve and the pump. That will leave antifreeze in both the strainer and pump after winterizing, so that the pipes can be left connected during winter. Also, if you relocate pipes do not create any water traps in the pipe between the valve and the fresh water tank that might prohibit water from draining out.
