Zipdee awning leaks? Strange leaks?

I have a 2013 flying cloud RB model. I have a full length awning on the patio side… after I bought the trailer, about 2 years, I noticed that the awning was leaking when it rains with a peculiar pattern…. Long drip lines running roughly halfway horizontal down the awning approximately 1.5 feet apart. This is very strange as dirt or other debris will not likely cause a “pattern” like this? I’ve washed the awning and rinsed thoroughly to no avail…. What’s the next move?

I’ve had other Zipdee awnings in the past without any problems….I know if they get dirty they’ll leak, but not like this? TIA

I'd contact Zip Dee directly. They have a great customer service and tech support staff.

My initial thought is that perhaps your fabric has some inconsistency in the weave which is causing the leaks. They should be able to help you troubleshoot.

According to the description on the Amazon item page, you apply it by spraying it on the fabric, overlapping areas until the fabric is uniformly wet, but not saturated.

You could also use tent waterproof rain repellent.
