I've researched the threads, checked the AS site (but our AS is so old you know). The poles are easy movers, are we missing some kind of push up and lock device? I might add we have the original instructions, with pictured illustrations...but alas, our college educations are getting us nowhere.
This weeks learning opportunity?! How to dispose the sewage.

Adding a "center support" to your Zip Dee awning, is very wise.
That extra support will take the droop out, provide extra protection against larger gusts of wind, and should also help eliminate the door dragging problem, provided the awning arms are properly extended.
A center support is easily installed and is stowed on the side of the trailer like the other arms.
Takes about 15 minutes to install and costs a little over a hundred bucks.
Everyone that has an awning over about 14 feet in length, should have a "center support."
