1987 excella clearcoat issues

Hi there! I'm looking at an 87 excella 1000. 32'.... the clear coat is starting to fall apart.. what do I do about that? Strip the whole thing or, is there a way to clean it up?? Thanks!!!

It's very common. Either strip and polish; strip and clearcoat; or leave it as it is.

It's also known as "Airstream pattern baldness".
