Had power surge. blown street transformer. Blew TV, seems to have messed up the antenna. I replaced the 12V power to the antenna to no avail. Anything else? Could the antenna have died also? Thanks in advance. I would hate to remove and replace roof antenna. (omni directional).

As a complete guess, I'd say absolutely the powered antenna could be toast as well. The combination of low RF signals and a few transistors for the amp inside means the wiring / ICs inside the unit can easily be overloaded by higher than expected voltages...If a new power supply doesn't fix it, sounds like a replacement would be needed.
PS we must be neighbors; we live in Venice also (well ok Nokomis but still).
