Newbie - Stove exhaust fan/light issues

We have a new 2016 Pendleton. I have not figured out how the over the stove fan/light works. Some times the switches Work but other times I slide the switches to turn on and nothing will come on with the exhaust fan or light. I think it has to do with the air conditioner running maybe? Or when the fantastic fan is running? Is there a rule on when they will turn on and when they won't?

Sounds like a loose wire or ground connection behind the switches.

Yeah I would think they would work no matter. Add it to your warranty list.

And you'll want the fan working. Cooking often sets off the fir alarm. We have to run the fan, turn on the fantastic fan AND open a window or the door
