I'm in the chat room now.

Here is part 3. The reason for splitting this is that the system won't allow more than 1000 characters per message.
You mentioned that driving a large MH makes you a bit nervous. The first time I drove a DP was when I test-drove our coach. After we bought it I had to drive it 300 miles home. I had less than 30 minutes of driving instruction before I was driving solo. I was rather nervous on that first trip, but now I'm much more comfortable driving it. I don't know how much time you have behind the wheel, but the more you have the more comfortable you are.
I'll be in the chat room after supper if you'd like to chat.

Here is part 2.
The conventional wisdom is that a drivable coach is the better choice if one is moving at least monthly, while a towable is the better choice for those who tend to stay put for a month or more at a time. That's why we chose a MH in the first place and why we're thinking about switching now. Our plans have changed.
You mentioned using your coach in place of a hotel when on business trips. If cost is your only concern you are probably better off flying, renting a car, and staying in a hotel. From you photo, though, you look fairly young, so maybe you have children that might accompany you on those trips so see this great country first-hand. That makes using an RV an excellent idea
