Front protection windows fitment

We have a 2020 27FB flying cloud and recently returned from a camping trip from Florida. The campground trees dropped lots of leaves and debris during our week stay. When we returned home I noted many leaves and debris between the front windows and their projectors. When taking a closer look I noticed the covers (rubber seals) on the bottom of protectors fit tight. The tops however have a 3/4 inch gap between gasket and body. This is allowing debris to slide down the body right between the windows. Can these be adjusted? I believe poor fitment from factory. Thanks

You have discovered the famous Airstream debris trap! All AS are designed so. A JC tech once informed that the purpose of the rubber strips is only to prevent slamming. This gap must be cleared or you may find rainwater buildup and eventual interior leakage.

Or, add a bit of rubber weatherstripping to make up the difference ... works for us.

Anyone try to bend these to fit better? Window is plastic and frame is aluminum. Seems like a little better fit would be possible.

Not without relocating the hinge and front attachment points.
