Warped front window cover Bambi 16

We recently purchased our first AS - a 2029!Bambi 16. It’s great and we love it but the front plexiglass curved outer window covering is warped (indents) in the middle. Is this a common issue and can it be fixed? FYI IT will pop into place for a few seconds but then pops back to its indented position.

If not something I can easily fix, would this be a warranty issue, do you think? Warranty Is in place until 2021 I believe.

FYI I have heard from the previous owner about this issue. She says her Airstream dealer acknowledged she had the problem but wouldn't take vacation on it - per her he said "it is what it is" more or less. So do I just live with it?

Live with it only as long as it takes to schedule a visit to Airstream head-quarters to get it fixed before warranty expires. Plan it for a time you can combine a trip to Jackson Center area.

Try going to a different dealer. You can usually just roll into a dealership and have them look and it and order a part without too much hassle. You may end up waiting awhile to get the service appointment to install it though

Our center shield is warped in its frame. Dealer said Airstream said it was normal would not replace it under warranty. Please post what warranty response you get.

I got the same thing from Buda. The center on our 20 warped quite a bit on both sides of the center bar. They said it was normal and refused replacement.

I thought heat and wind caused it on my center window.
