1966 Trade Wind Quiz

I suspect some of you, like me, enjoy trying to determine the condition of things by studying ebay pictures. I recently bought this AS trailer on ebay. #270526748293

So the quiz: From the pictures, what can you say or surmise about the trailer in terms of condition, problems, etc? Worried about things like axles and rear end separation. I realize the pictures are limited and of poor quality but that's part of the challenge!

The owner was not able to take the additional pictures promised because of a blizzard. I bought the trailer knowing the risks. Minno is going to go take a look at the trailer for me. He will give me feedback and I can then tell how well you and I did on the quiz.

Interested in your analysis!

Its hard for me to say from the pictures, however, is that tail droop on the left hand side? That is a common problem and may indicate some wood rot. The door is not a cheap replacement, I had one fabricated last spring. Its insulated and looks like a piece of art (priced accordingly).

I think it will need axles, and as the Gen said that left corner seems to be sagging. Dave

sprung trailer maybe just a bad leaf spring ? alum tnks a plus. are those the split rims ? floor rot at rear a safe bet. but looks pretty straight from what can be seen . and doesn't look like the inside is bad at all !
