Discount Tires & new Goodyears
Dropping a short note on how great Discount Tires in Georgia took care of our Airstream. We needed new tires and ordered the Goodyear Endurance. Asked about getting all four tires with the same manufacture date (born on date), not something you can usually ask for, but surprisingly all four tires have the same date.
It was raining the morning we went in. Backed into the shop and they had a team ready to go. Trailer was up, tires off, dismounted and mounted new ones, balanced and back on the ground in no time at all.
Really surprised when I found out there were two rebates available.
Ready to go back on the road.

I bought four GYE’s from Discount Tire Direct as they didn’t have a store nearby last year. All four tires were TWO WEEKS old. Super fresh!

Being a Phoenician, I like Discount Tire.
They are headquartered here and have stores everywhere.
They also move a boat load of tires. So getting freshly minted ones is a common thing.

Same here (well maybe not two weeks, but they were very new purchased at local DT). I always check that nowadays after I got a two year old tire as one of a set of four on my Truck (replaced promptly by the shop (not DT)). Our local Discount Tire is great with very efficient and courteous crew.

Thanks for the info and recommendation. My RV needs four new shoes. So DT is now high on my list of possible installers.

Four floor jacks, one at each wheel on the frame. With jack pads.

Went to my first Discount Tire this summer when I picked up a screw in a TV tire. Bought 2 tires. I was impressed. Is this a whole brand new chain, or what?

Not exactly. And a 50+ year old company that is mainly in the Western US with head quarters in Scottsdale AZ. They have 1000+ stores. Expansion East has been a little slow.
A hallmart of the company is free flat repair

They did a great job for me, ordering 5 Sendel wheels, exchanging two I rejected for finish, along with 5 Michelin LTX MS/2 16” tires and a Dill TPMS and mounted the sensors and tires on the wheels. I picked them up and put them on the trailer myself as I took off the old wheels and tires. I took the old ones to them and they dismounted the old tires so I could sell the wheels. All for about the same cost as if I had bought everything on the net at the best price I could find. Their road hazard warranty saved me as well when I ruined a tire on some collision debris I couldn’t avoid on an exit ramp.
I will go back.

I’m also happy with Discount Tire and Goodyear Endurance. I had the tire crew jack up one side of the trailer at a time and required them to use a torque wrench rather than the normal air powered wrench. I had to point out the jack points for them. Also, I had tire inflated to 67 psi. The installer would have put in 80 lbs if I hadn’t intervened. 80 psi is too much in my opinion. No problems and they take direction!

They have no presence in the St Louis area but I’ve ordered via the Internet. Fresh tires, no tax, and free delivery. Bought my last two sets of Michelin tires for my Classic from them. The last set were Defenders. I’ve also bought tires from my tow vehicle and car from them. Saved a ton of money from them vs local outlets.

Expect tax on internet sales in the future. 33 states since the first of the year are now getting sales tax based on buyers delivery location. One more will start in 2020. (Wisconsin)
At this point Missouri is not one of the 34.

Only tire store I will use.
They used my tire changing ramp and loved it.
Best prices. Fast service.
Won't go anywhere else.

I used Tire World in Frederick, MD to purchase my Endurance tires (got 5), they were also great. They asked me where specifically to jack up the trailer (they had to use their heavy duty floor jack), they asked me what tire pressure I wanted and even asked what torque to use for the lug nuts, yes they used an actual torque wrench. I will use them again.

Discount Tire was very helpful and reasonable in mounting metal valve stems in my AS wheels to accommodate my TPMS sensors.
So when my TV needed new tires I went to them for new Michelins. Got $216 in rebates from Discount Tire and Michelin.
Will go back to them when the tires on my trailer need replacement. With 26K miles on the trailer it'll be pretty soon.

When the TV needed new tires I went to Discount Tire.
There's none in my city (???) so I had to drive 40 miles away.
Not only did they offer the best price on Michelin Defenders by $100, there was a mail-in rebate for another $100!
When one of my GY Endurance picked up a screw, they patched the tire for free!
My spare was a GY Marathon (Long story) so I replaced it with a GY Endurance.
They gave me $35 for the Marathon, zero miles, and sold me the Endurance at a great price.
The shop is clean, the workers helpful. Managers friendly.
Yes, give them advice on jacking the trailer. Thankfully, a floor jack won't fit between the axels on my AS. He did it my way, on the axle support beam.
I'll gladly drive 40 miles to go back!

When you're on the road enough you pick up debris. I've used DT here at home and two other locations in Arizona, and in New Mexico, Idaho, Texas and Utah. No matter where you are you're in their computer system and they can see the road hazard warranty.
And, AND(!) no mater which store you still get "Yes, Sir" and "Thank you." They're a rare bird these days. Love 'em.
