Bumps on Tire Wall

Need some advice,
We are on our first trip( 2500 miles)on our Airstream Globetrotter 30’ 2020. Made it to Jackson, WY. I was checking my tires and found these bumps on 3 of the 4 tires.
I called the coach net and sent them the below photos and advised to change all the tires.
I called Airstream and emailed them the photos, and they assured me that these are normal structural elements in the tires, and they are safe to drive
I would like to have your advice if it is safe to travel with these tires!!

The bumps you noticed are a consequence of the Endurance sidewall design. Airsteam is correct. It is normal and typical for these tires. For other tires, not so much so I understand the concern and confusion.

I seen those similar bumps on many tires. somewhat normal. if the bump gets worse, you know tis not normal

Tire Rack has a nice explanation of the indentations from manufacturing but the real issue is if you have BULGES them's bad news and commented in their post further down.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiret...%20the%20tires.

"Sidewall Indentations / Undulations
Sidewall indentation
Fig. A: Vertical indentation on sidewall from rim to tread.

A common byproduct of radial tire construction, sidewall indentations/undulations are more noticeable in tires with taller sidewalls or operate at higher inflation pressures. Fortunately sidewall indentations are a cosmetic condition that does not affect the performance of the tires."

Same here

Mine are all the same but if I could suggest to weigh/scale your trailer and use the Goodyear inflation chart to adjust your tire pressures.

Undulation OK. Bumps are the start of tread separations. Get new tires.

Not limited to any specific tire manufacturer. Can be found on many other tires manufactured by many different companies.

This is a result of the tire manufacturing process and does not negatively impact the performance of the tire.

bump on sidewall

Just did our first trip in our FC 25FB. Round trip was about 175 miles. Noticed a bulge on the front passenger side tire of the trailer when we dropped it back at the dealer for storage. Replacing the tire. Disappointing on a new unit. Plus our tankless water heater leaked...nothing's perfect and we still love it!

Mike,

Yup bulging out, pursue with warranty. Happened to me on a Marathon years ago.

Good to catch it and get it taken care of.
