Thermostat question - 85 Excella
Just got our new old Excella home! We are so pumped! All systems appear to be working, just as seller reported, but haven't turned on the furnace yet. So, one possibly bone-headed question: Where is the thermostat for the furnace? Seller went into detail about lighting the furnace, and there is a new-ish Carbon Monoxide sensor/alarm. So, I would guess the furnace has been in use. But how is it regulated?
I can't find a home-style wall thermostat, which I think is the original equipment. Pictures on the web so far haven't been much help. There is no Service Manual for 1985, but looking in the 1979 book it shows "Thermostat" in the schematic, but doesn't give a clue about finding where it might be.
I am happy to replace a removed one, provided I can find the wiring...
