New AS owner 74 suburban furnace?
so i just got a pretty decent AS that has a NT 32 suburban furnace of which i think is the recalled furnace, pulled it and it does have what appears to be the rubber cross tube in the back. Is there a fix for this or am i relegated to dump it and buy another one? Not afraid of fabrication or elbo grease...

Any input is much appreciated... Im starting at the front and working back...

There are a few threads on here about that furnace, but this is my favorite because it involves flames shooting out.
