Can anyone tell me how to remove the cabinet part of my NT-22A furnance? I was able to remove the furnance from the cabinet but after removing three anchoring screws the cabinet still will not come out.It seems to still be anchored by something around the wheel well. Ideas?
Seems like I had to scratch my head a few times when I removed the Nt-22 from my 68 Trade Wind. I think I still have the cabinet in the shop, I"ll check in the morning for signs of where it was attached and let you know.

I think it's welded, soldered or something at the base. But I replaced my 22A with a 30 Sp and kept the old casing and just slide the new unit into the frame.
Has to cut the front cover with metal snips as the gas line fed from the right instead of the left.
On the other hand if you want it out of there a small sledge hammer and a prybar may do the job.
Thanks guys I want to save the cabinet and reuse it but it has to come out so i can do some floor repair under it so it needs to come out in one piece.
