Ceiling Shroud for '83 Coleman A/C
Hi, posted this in WTB, but new to the forum. Desperately seeking Coleman ceiling shroud w/front and rear directional louvers. Can be in fair condition as long as all pieces in place. I can fiberglass any cracks etc. Model number is 6759A716. Thanks! Fred

That would make it a Delta TX...? I have that model on my trailer now - it's in need of repair. I bought a new one over a year ago - maybe losing my shroud might motivate me to install the new one but not sure mine will fit....
The manual shows mine is either a 6769A714 or 716 - I'd have to check if it has a heat switch - 714 is without heat and 716 is with....

Hey Ganglin, here are some pics I took of the old shroud tonight. Does it look familiar?

Take a look - ran out to the C/G and took these tonight. The knob structure looks different.

Thanks so much for taking the time to get the pics! Even though your shroud has more features such as the heat selector switch and the two control dials on the right, the louvers, shape, and all other dimensions appear quite identical. If you are willing to part with it I know the louvers would snap in and as for the control panel, that could be easily patched and drilled to accomadate the dials on my shroud. Yours is also in obviously better condition as well and I think I could really just dispense with mine entirely. If you are willing to sell it I would be very interested! I can pay you thru PayPal and would of course cover any shipping expenses. Let me know. Kind Regards, Fred

You don't have to pay for it Fred - just the shipping please. You'll have to give me some time to arrange to get my new A/C out of storage and see if the the local RV dealer will install it (some things they won't tackle on an Airstream). My schedule is out of control right now so bear with me.... and thanks for the motivation to get ours done.

Fred - I didn't forget you. I have the shroud at the house - PM me your full name and mailing address please. Just wanted to let you know that it appears like these were drilled for knobs to be a universal fit. This one has a center hole on the right and left already. Looks like they just used different labels to cover/expose the openings. I replaced the O rings on the louvers - taped the knobs and stainless mounting screws to it - the filters are there also.
Looks like the install on mine will be next weekend....

Fred has decided to install a new unit - any takers on the interior shroud I have.
Finally got our new one in Saturday - wasn't near the job I anticipated.
Going once.... going twice....
