AC Condensation pan replacement

I've found several threads on cleaning out the drain tube and some advice to use JB Weld to repair the AC condensation pan. My problem is this is a 30 year old Coleman model 6798A which works perfectly except that it leaks into the Airstream. My drain tube is clear but the pan is brittle and cracked in several places. I've been searching Google to see if there is a replacement available and have not found anything. I spoke to the parts department at PPL Motorhomes and the tech told me the AC manufacturers don't make them and gave me the name of a company called Van Pan Inc. Unfortunately the phone number for them is a cell phone and no one answers, can't leave a message and they haven't replied to text or email.
I'm afraid if I try to remove the pan to fix it from the inside that it will fall apart.
So...what I would like to know is if anyone has found a replacement part?

I bought a replacement pan from outofdoorsmart.com about 5 years ago. Not sure if they still sell them or not. Seems that the trend is toward using the condensate capturing cups as a replacement, as the pans are notorious for cracking/leaking.etc. There are several threads on these forums discussing the cups and pans. Try searching for "condensate cups" and you should find several hits.

good luck!

I've given up on trying to find a replacement pan. I'm told the Dometic cups will work with the old Coleman. Has anyone installed the cups on a Coleman that can provide some instructions?
