Is venting an AS installed microwave necessary?

We have a 2021 FC-FBT27. We chose to go with the separate microwave that is in a slide out cupboard. When in use the back of the microwave is mostly exposed and vents into the hallway. When not used, the slide in cupboard holds the microwave. The microwave is plugged into switch that shuts it off if the cupboard id closed.

The potential problem arises when the microwave is closed up. There is no way to vent any excess moisture away from the microwave and sometimes there is quite a bit of condensation inside the cupboard.

My general feeling is that since the side of that cupboard is next to the outside stove vent, that a simple hole in the side of the cupboard wall would allow moisture to be pulled out using the stove vent fan.

Any comments, suggestions, or am I overthinking this?
