Igniters on Atwood stove not working

The igniters on my Atwood stove are not lighting the burners. They light fine with a lighter so no propane issues there. Anybody have this crop up with a new trailer? I have a 25' 2016 flying cloud.

Ours is hit and miss on one of the burners, the others work fine.

We have the same issue, the back two burners work fine and the front burner works sometime. The front burner is fine if we use a ignitor so I know that we have gas

I found it easier to just keep a long neck flame thingy in the overhead cabinet. Yeah, the sparker worked about half the time, but IIRC, the spark is created by hitting a crystal with a hammer. (Piezo). The flame was faster, and worked 100% of the time.

Have you lifted the burner plate and checked if all the igniter wires are connected at the burners and also at ingniter knob?

Not surprisingly, Schu has it right. The wires between the igniter knob and the burners seem to have a will of their own. They can come loose for what seems like absolutely no reason.

It's a flaky design. Just about everybody has problems with the lighters. The wires between the ignitor and burners easily short. I ran mine through that cheap 1/2" split electrical conduit to help stop shorting.

SAME issue as Kscherzi

My 25 FC 2016 stove had the same problem as Kscherzi, as well as not all the burners lighting evenly, even after I discovered a loose wire.

Atwood igniters

One of mine wasn't sparking. It's easy to overthink the problem. I took an old toothbrush and dipped it into alcohol and brushed the accumulated crud off and it worked fine. Simple solution.

Unhappy The burners work fine...but...

...we can't keep the pilot light to remain burning in the oven of our Atwood range/oven - I don't think the oven has ever been used (2014 23' FC).
Hence, no biscuits in the morning or cookies later on in the day.
:-(

Ideas or suggestions?

Are you holding the valve in for a solid 30 seconds before attempting to light it?

If it doesn't light at that point, rotate the knob to, say 350, and the burner should fire up.

the fuse for my ignitors was also for the antenna booster, and the power awning, so something is also on the fuse, and of course would not be working. All of our ignitors work just like they are supposed to

Fused ignitors? Mine have always been piezo electric - no power needed. And the oven has to be lit each time, there is no constant pilot, once you turn off the oven.

If you mean that it doesn't remain lit while the oven is on and is cycling, then you probably need a new thermocouple, an easy fix.

Correct...pilot won't remain lit to even get the oven burner to light. I'll try the thermocouple idea. Thanks!

What he said.
I removed the wiring to the igniters and slipped a slightly larger heat shrink tubing onto the wires and re-installed.
Problem solved.
