Baking Cookies

Jan wants to bake cookies at the next Airstream open house (RMVAC) we attend and asked me what size cookie sheet will fit in our oven. The trailer is in storage currently and to save a trip, I'll ask here. It's the original four burner stove/oven in my 75 Trade Wind. Once I have the numbers a new search begins for a mini cookie sheet.

Hi Richard,

Just did a similar search. The interior dimensions of your (and my) rack are 14½” by 16”. I have a new (still unused) 15 ½” by 10½” sheet pan that I bought at Wally World by me right now that fits perfectly.

Send cookies.

Have fun at the open house and give my regards to all. There is one thing to be said for living in the Airstream, I can check things at a moments notice.

As I was moving into my Tradewind, I was very happy to find that my regular 13.5" x15.5" cookie sheets fit in my oven. I couldn't imagine being in my trailer fulltime without being able to make cookies!

Just pull a piece of .032" 2024 Alclad off the scrap heap and cut to fit.

Turn your Tradewind sideways to the sun and you've already got half a reflector oven. I can see it now -- 30 seconds and crispy brown -- cookies for an army.

Salida looks like a great location!

Found a cookie sheet that will work today at Target. We will be serving up fresh baked cookies to our visitors at the RMVAC Open House next month. Hope to see you there!
