I have a 1967 22 Safari with a Dometic refer when on electric works great when switching to propane pilot stays lit but burner will not fire. could it be the thermo couple ?

Could be. Could also be a clogged orifice in the propane line or a few other things.

Are you hearing/seeing anything at the moment it should be trying to light? As in are there any indications that it's trying to send propane through?

Does anyone e know where l can purchase a electrical heating element for a RM100?

Second test with a better temperature probe says my fridge might yet live! So I just bought mine from Ebay 5 minutes ago.
