Chemical smell from fridge

Our Dometic fridge model DM 2862 has an increasing chemical smell coming from inside the cabinet. Can't smell it outside.
It is just over two years old in our 2014 Flying Cloud 30'.
Any suggestions. At present we have turned it off and will defrost completely and clean. Then check for the smell.
Does not really smell of ammonia.
