I fear that in two months we will be missing these low fuel prices.
Reg at the Shell this morning was $4.21 pump your own and diesel was $4.79.

Indiana: regular was $3.859 and $3.869 on I 70. I few cents less west of Columbus, but we got it at a Flying J about 20 miles east of Columbus for $3.769. We felt like we had scored! On to West Virginia (12 miles wide at Wheeling) where it was the the $3.80's and same into Pa. We saw another Flying J at $3.799 somewhere around Washington, Pa. We hope to get to Scranton area and fill up before NY and Conn. where it costs a lot more. Eventually they'll nail us on our way back from R. Is., but little victories (and denial) feel good.

STL is ranging from $3.61 at Sam's Club to $3.79 at some chain stations for reg. QT varies almost $.13 a gallon between its various outlets in the St. Louis area. Things are in a real state of flux in the metro area. Diesel is about $4.36.

There's a Pilot right after you get off the Pa. Tnpk. in Carlisle if you're going to I 81. It was $3.769. But we got into the left lane before we saw it and there were so many trucks in the right lane, we couldn't get to it. So around Hershey off I 81 we paid $3.799 at another Pilot. Chocolate would've been cheaper. Will top it off in the morning here in Milford, Pa., before going to NY and New Eng.

Just think of the cost to fill when you have dual tanks of 20 gallons each! Far above the average daily wage of most Americans

Gas was $4.019 to $4.069 across Connecticut. We paid in $3.799 at a Hess station in Rhode Island, lowest we'd seen since Pa. Newport is $3.859.

Sinful, sinful, just plain sinful.
What more can I say. I didn't even get a kiss after I gave away any future kids college funds to fill the tank of the Suburban.
One of my LP tanks is empty and I am also not looking forward to that visit either!
