My weekly update,
Unleaded= 4.12
Diesel= 4.89
Just lost my injector pump on my trusty 300,000 mile Peugeot turbo diesel for lack of sulfur in today's diesel
I'm thinking of staight piping my powerstroke "Take that Arnold"

Chevron down the street today(Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach): diesel running @ $4.85 and regular gas @ $3.85. Last week in Las Vegas I paid $3.59 for regular gas at a Chevron. Lets see, the Chevron refinery is about 20 miles from here and about 300 miles to Las Vegas, I guess the truckers are paying the oil companies for transporting the fuel, yeah, that's it, now I get it. Hmmm. Yesterday, Safeway's regular rose to 3.49, which translates to 3.39 with the 10 cent per gallon discount that customers get for purchases of food of $50 or more. It doesn't take many bags of groceries to top $50.

I saw one Mobile station around the corner from me that was charging $3.95.9 for regular yesterday. No one was buying from him another down the street from him had it at $3.79.9. My Burb has been parked for 2 months now. I really miss driving it. Where will this end?

$4.259 for diesel today. 22.5 gallons... just shy of 96 buckaroos. Figured I'd fill up at a quarter tank before fuel goes up again. Dang, it was $3.99 last week.

They're nickle & dimin' us to $5, probably more by the end of summer. Funny how "world events" which raise the price of fuel, always happen right before the holidays or summer, when demand is up.

Not going to happen in our lifetime. The emerging economies in India and China will suck up all excess available petroleum for the foreseeable future. Both these countries are going through a revolutionary move to an automobile centered society from centuries of living without.

We try to concentrate on our HEALTH. Can we do anything about the price?
Don't really know.

We will look forward to our Airstream Travels and TRY to forget the price of fuel. Horrible.

Just got back from Baja and the diesel was 2.15 a US Gal. And I was glad I had my 95 gal aux tank in the bed. But I hear the are stopping people from bringing back fuel in non approved tanks. But it won't last long before I get to pay the big bucks again. Oh well

$3.719 in Hotchkiss, Colo. It's usually about 20˘ less in Grand Junction. Saturday we start east to R.Is. and NYC with our 4Runner (no trailer this trip—22 mpg compared to 11.5 and what would I do with a trailer in NYC for a week?) and I'm looking forward to $4+ in NY and N.Eng. Gas has been lower in Colorado for several years and every time we go elsewhere, we are very unhappy. Oh, for the good old days when gas was only $2.
