News on the radio in Canada today is that by spring expect gasoline to hit $1.40+ per liter which I think equates to $5.23 per US gallon. OUCH!

Yesterday we filled the GMC truck - first ever fill over $100 at $109.13. My sphincter muscles still hurt .

Since we buy a significant amount of our petroleum from you guys, why do we pay less per gallon than you do? Does Canada have that high of taxes on fuel?

I think it's because of something called "NAFTA".

Price in Wayzata Minnesota is $2.99.

according to the wiki fuel tax 101...

usa fuel taxes average 40-45 cents per gallon...

while the labatts' drinkers average is 1.25-1.40$ per gallon...

but keep in mind with the current exchange rate,

i've got NO IDEA how many loons it takes to buy 3 liters of pabst, at the quik trip!

cheers

On the way to work this morning, regular unleaded was $3.05, diesel was $3.60. Several other stations were within a penny up or down...

Gotta love competition, keeps us consumers pocketing those savings!

$4.09 9/10 In SE PA

Coming home from work today I paid $4.09 9/10 for diesel. $40.00+ to top off my VW Jetta tank from 1/2 full. I don't even want to know how much it is going to cost to fill my 40+ gallon tank on the 3/4 ton 6.6 L turbo diesel this summer. Do you think I could pull my Airstream with the Jetta???
