Diesel $1.52 @ Sam's Club in Owasso, OK ( just north of Tulsa ). Most others in the area are $1.56.

Arrived in the UK last night. A Shell station had gasoline at £1.01 per liter and £1.02 for regular diesel. Those are the lowest prices in six or seven years.

They do have premium diesel with a higher cetane rating which is usually £0.10 per liter higher.

Our 2003 E320 Mercedes station wagon with a straight six mechanical injection diesel engine does well on the better fuel. We can see over 35 mpg (after all the conversions - 4 liters = 1.2 US gallons) when the highway.

Got to keep the corporate jets (yes plural) for the big oil executives to run around in. They can't be bothered to use the airlines... or the roads since the corporate helicopters fly them from the airport to the office....
