Harder Than It Looks

Getting those beautifully frames shots that just say, "all I had to do was step out the door and..." is a lot harder than it looks; even when you're camped in a beautiful spot. Here's my attempt and another, not from the door shot that proves once again that even a blind squirel finds an acorn once in a while

First shot is at Big Twin Lake Campground in Winthrop, Wa. Second shot is on the way back over
the North Cascades Highway overlooking Ross Lake. -Bernie

Bob, we found a states map in Camping World a couple of years ago. You might check their catalog. ~G

Yep, Camping World - it's the same one you see on the outside of SOB's and you place a state cutout in the state outline for each state you visit. I just don't want to deal with another sticker on my AL AS skin - it goes well inside the door and I always have the door open in camp anyway. About $14.99.

Clancy Boy, glad to see you got your "Airstream Door" photo posted. . . . The mist on the lake that morning was gorgeous. I want to go back.

And Gen Disarray, that photo is stunning!

Inside Out.... the surf is at the point... to the right of the picture....although it looks like it would be pretty small.... I absolutely love Relfugio... during the fall there is no better place to be.

You're absolutely right - Refugio in October...doesn't get any better than that for being at the beach.
The surf was small on Sunday, Saturday was so-so. Butt surfed for a couple of hours, caught a lot of nice ones.

In re-reading this, I should explain "Butt surf". That's what we call surfing in/on a kayak.

View from our door...

Here is the view from our door while we were on our way to the NorCal Rally:

#1 was at a stop where we were having lunch... a semi truck parked next to us.

#2 was while camping at Casa de Fruta when we had TV issues and our TV was being repaired.

I would have to say, photo#2 has a much nicer view....at least you wouldn't go hungry at Casa De Fruita!
