Travel Recommdations

We have joined the AS forum and received welcome and encouragement for future trips. Took a short trip (4 nights) to checkout our dealer training session. With the help of the owners manual we did OK. We got winterized with the help of the AS forum. Now we are ready for a trip from WA to AZ in Jan for 4weeks. There are lots of RV parks around the Phoenix area, but lots of Snowbirds. Have we waited to late to make reservation? We picked the area west Phoenix only because of our arrival direction. Awaiting advice

State parks normally have a limit on the length of time one can stay, so they're not likely to fill up with snowbirds who want to be in the area for months on end. Ditto for Corps of Engineers parks. Either one should have spaces available.

But because of the limitations, you might need two separate reservations, for two weeks each at two different parks.

For January you might be okay for state parks. February might be a problem. Go on the sites and take a look.
