If you want to stay in Las Vegas but don't want to pay RV Resort prices, we stay at Main Street Station. Located downtown on Main Street just north of Fremont street, it is a large parking lot with water, sewer and electric hookups. When we stayed there last September, the spaces around the edge, which are not large, were $16.00 per night. The center pull through sites were $18. You can make reservations by calling the Main Street Station hotel which is across the street from the RV area. If you want a center space, be sure to tell them that when you make your reservation. Mind you, this is no frills, but plenty OK if you are there to see the sights. They do have rest rooms with showers. Can't tell you about that as we use the facilities in our Airstream. The hotel has a nice brew pub/sports bar with good food and very reasonable prices. We have stayed there twice.

Last summer we stayed a week or so at the Duck Creek RV Park; it was clean, good rates, nice pool. And it is a Passport America affiliate, rate good for 7 nights. So it was quite an economical stay for us. They have a web site or you can find it through the Passport America site. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Depends how close you want to be. This subject has been covered several times. Just google it.
If you don't mind being an hour away, I fell in love with the campground next to Parumph Valley Winery.
Circus Circus is probably the closest, but is basically a parking lot!

Have stayed at the Oasis RV Resort which is very nice and convenient to the strip as it is just at the south end. Rates from $40-65 depending on what amenities you want.

Just stayed in Vegas at Circus Circus. Get a standard site and the price isn't bad. Don't pay for the upgraded sites. Drove by Sam's Town and that looks like a good park and has good reviews. Stayed last year at Oasis Las Vegas Resort. Another nice place, restroom/showers were spotless. Again not much difference on the site vs. the price.
If I went back again, I was working a trade show, I would probably try Main Street Station. Price is certainly good, CC is a big parking lot, nice but a parking lot none the less.

We were in Vegas for over a week in March and stayed at the Oasis RV park as well. We loved it! We payed a little extra (based on another streamer's recommendation) and got a back-in site at the pool/putting green. Those sites are well worth the extra money. We would definitely stay there again.

Many hotels on the strip have free self park areas. They are usually in the very back, but that gives the opportunity to wonder through the hotel and see the sights on the way to the "strip". Our favorite to park is the old Aladdin, now Planet Hollywood. Right across from the Bellagio and it's beautiful fountains.
Have a nice trip.

Avoid Sam's Town. I stayed there a few years back for a few days, and left early one morning. Surprised to find an extra day charged to my credit card when I got my statement a few weeks later. I left several hours before checkout time but I was still charged an extra day. I called their manager and was basically told I "must have been there" when I clearly was not. I was told that someone "drives around at checkout time to make sure everyone who has not paid has checked out." Well, neither I nor my trailer was there when they supposedly did this "drive thru." When I provided a receipt clearly showing I had got gas nearly 100 miles away hours BEFORE checkout time I was rebuffed. They were very rude and did not help at ALL. I had to resort to a chargeback with my credit card, which they FEVERISHLY tried to fight!!! Of course I won when I provided my gas receipt showing I wasn't there along with ANOTHER receipt for the campground that I actually stayed at the night Sam's Town claimed I was there. I would NEVER stay there again.
Avoid Sam's Town.
