Las Vegas Camping Advice??

Help please Y'all. The daughter is getting married in Las Vegas this September and I would like to know if anyone has favorite camping sites in Las Vegas. We will have our bullie girl and her evil MonkeyKat sister with us so we need a pet friendly site. Any insites would be greatly appreciated.
After the wedding we are starting the great adventure and hitting the road full-time in the 34.5. We had this all planned out for my retirement in 2 years but things accelerated and we are pulling out and hitting the road now.
I can't believe that in less than 2 months I will not be sitting here at work but on the road.
I only wish we had time to sell our townhouse this year before we leave. But we are going to summer here at the Airstream Park because until that pension kicks in thrift is the key word. So we can deal with that next spring.
Thank Goodness we have be preparing for the last couple of years or it would look unsurmountable.
I suppose I should change my name to marenotinmn.

There's a KOA right there in Las Vegas. Appears to offer some decent amenities.

Here's a link:

Circus-Circus

We have stayed there twice.

Be aware that their RV park is an asphalt paved parking lot that gets hotter than Hades in the summer. Prices are right, however, and it's just a short trot into the casino for breakfast or to lose your money.

We would go back there again, but not in high summer.

Lake Mead close by

Hello - We had planned an inaugural trip with our Minuet to LV this past March, but ended up at Zion NP in Utah instead (stayed at a wonderful resort there which is about 1 1/2-2 hrs from LV and which I wrote up in the Campsite Forum), but I did get some recommendations on some places around LV. One of them was this one:

http://www.riverlakes.com/cottonwood_aerial_view.htm

which is on Lake Mead right outside of LV. Probibly would be pretty nice in Sept. and maybe not so crowded. I believe there is a Wally World real close too. Once you click on the above and connect to the link, go down the left side to "Lake Mojave" under Cottonwood Cove, pictures. That will link you to pictures of the RV park and info itself.

By the way, many of the people camping at the resort close to Zion NP were fulltimers wintering there. It was really nice. Good luck. Leigh
