New Tundra.

If I'm late to the party, my apologies.
I saw a video last night on the new 2022 Tundra.
Twin turbo V-6, 12,000 pound tow capacity, 10 speed tranny.
Here's the best news, depending on the configuration up to 1990 pounds payload.

Up to 1990 payload tells me that a decently equipped double or crew cab 4WD will probably have a payload under 1500lbs....I sure wish Toyota would build a 3/4 or 1 ton truck.

Good looking truck. Agreed, need a larger payload to be able to tow the classics

Toyota freely admits that they have designed the truck for a better ride quality rather than a large payload.

Rear Coil suspension in lieu of leaf springs. That’s what is going to give it the ride quality but may hurt payload. I would wait and see some real examples though before everyone defeats it. Until we see the yellow stickers, we just won’t know.

Don’t forget to check the GCVWR.
