How's the weather up there?

We plan to camp in Sequoia National Park in late July or early August. Weather.com gives average temperatures for Three Rivers, CA, which is at a much lower elevation, and much warmer during that time of the year. We'll be at about 6,000 ft, and would like an idea of the daily average temperatures to expect at that altitude. I'm starting this thread in the hopes that it can be a source for high altitude weather information from forum members.
