CoachNet Users??

Does anyone have experience using CoachNet's RV Member services? How would you compare them to something like AAA RV services? Or your RV insurance - if they offer similar services? We have not signed up, but wanted to get any reviews that anyone may want to share.

We had Coach Net. We were not happy with their service or phone support.

We now use AAA Premier RV. We've used them and have been extremely pleased. In fact we've been so happy with them thus far that we like to say we are customers for life.

Does CoachNet two year coverage still come with a new Airstream purchase? It did with our 2012, never had a problem with the Airstream, so we passed on the renewal. After five years still no problems.

Yes, the CoachNet came free with our Airstream. It was worth every cent (e.g. not one cent). Others may have had good experiences with CN, but ours was repeatedly awful. We'll not use them ever again. In fact, we paid for AAA Premier RV while our free CN subscription was in force. They were that bad.

We got CoachNet when we bought our Foretravel. We've more than gotten our money's worth from them. When we broke down in December, 2014, they towed us from just west of Springfield, MO to Joplin, MO, then when Joplin Freightliner couldn't fix the problem they towed us from Joplin to Big Cabin, OK.

When we get our Airstream we'll keep CoachNet.

We had Coach Net with our previous RV, a 1995 35' Safari Sahara. Coach Net was fantastic every time we needed them: First was a plastic radiator overflow bottle that cracked climbing from Denver to Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70 westbound. We contacted them while sitting along the side of I-70 after exiting the tunnel, they had located a replacement part and a repair shop in Breckenridge where we had the part shipped. They found us an RV park nearby, and we limped to Breckenridge keeping a close eye on our temperature guage.

The next two times we needed them involved a dead alternator on the side of I-25 near Denver requiring a tow in the middle of the night to a local Cummins shop. The alternator was repaired, but Cummins failed to reattach some wire, so my husband was dead on the side of I-25 again a few days later and required another tow back to the shop.

We just purchased an 06 Airstream Interstate Parkway and went with CoachNet again.

Coachnet just failed a friend over the weekend... 30 miles from the Canadian border and blew a tire... Coachnet called back in an hour and said nobody was available to assist over the holiday weekend...

And so they just throw their hands ups and say good luck?

I thought it was their job and people are supposed to be on call for just that reason?

A few years ago we were stranded on the side of the road when our diesel truck towing our 5th wheel went into limp mode due to low DEF. We check the level and It was 3/4 full and we had a box of DEF with us so we fulled it up and the code wouldn’t clear. At the time we had a towing policy though our trucks insurance company. We called and told the lady that we have a truck with a 5th wheel and explain the problem. She set up the tow and call back and said the tow company is on their way but she had one question, why does our truck have 5 wheels and she seen one like that. It got straight out and we did get a tow but we still laugh about it.

We have free CoachNet that came with the AS but also have the FMCA medical assist that comes with the membership for. 60 bucks and the 69 dollar roadside assistance as a backup.
