So sad, so terrible
That is such an awful picture. It might seem ghoulish when folks here on the Forums ask "what happened?" but I think all of us want to learn from what has happened to others. So, if you've got any more details about the accident I think we'd be interested to know.
Deepest sympathy for your friend.

Attached to the vehicle means it falls under the policy of the tow vehicle. Showed this to my State Farm agent as a "what if????" - Yep covered by the vehicle. Maybe not in full and they may haggle but I would push the issue.
Excuse me - I don't want to be accused of hijacking a thread - back to the pictures.

No photoshop here
There was no photoshop involved. This is a straight up digital "negative". The orientation may seem a bit strange to anyone used to traditional Airstream layouts. This angle is facing the curbside rear corner of a 2006 Safari Front Bed model (a layout we LOVE - we were outgrowing our old rear bed model).

know houw you felt..Terry
As you can see in post #114, we just went through that last week heading to Key Largo. We made a screen cover to allievate the problem of bugs getting into radiator, but they still did a job on the windshield. Surprised that gas stations had pressure washers for everyone to use, free too.

Your avatar says 25' without the further designation of being FB so I just assumed it was the regular 25' rear bedroom and that made the door placement seem reversed. Now it all makes sense to me.

Any more entries out there? IMHO, there have been some truly superb images entered thus far. And might I add, it's not too late to wire a little "payola" my way . Remember, not too long ago all Airstream photos were of the black & white variety. The winner and runners up will be announced mid-day tomorrow. At this point I have seven finalists. - Roy

"Flamingo Love"
It seems the flamingos have had other things on their minds lately as I recently caught them nesting in our propane tanks. I've found two eggs so far and look forward to the new batch of hatchlings. The eggs are large in size but not as large as dinosaur eggs.

"Airstream Sea"
This photo was taken at the 2003 International Rally. This was our first International Rally and we were overwhelmed by the number of Airstreams packed into a single fairground. I've tried to capture that feeling with this photograph.

"Rally Parking"
This photo was taken at the Region One Rally held in Nova Scotia a few years back. This is what I call a classic Airstream rally photograph -- with noses all lined up perfectly and flags flying in the breeze. I never tire of seeing Airstreams all lined up in a row.
