I am so inspired by the photographic ability of this bunch! Why don't we put a Forum book together? People would enjoy it. Our take on Airstreaming in this generation. All of us have looked at the airstream pictures of the past. What are we going to leave to future airstreamers? My hat is off to you all. As an artist, I always find so much pleasure and inspiration in our monthly photo contests. Maybe we could create a 2008 calender with each month's 2007 winners. Ok...I am done gushing....lol

Yo Zep, that's a bit of a stretch. Any chance you're just looking for an opportunity to display some of your fine photos? . . . Nice work.
Thanks. Yes, I am shameless. If it was truly fine work I would have Photoshopped the shadow of my head out of the foreground! However, I have to admit that sometimes I go places where I wish I had wheels that diameter on my Airstreams--like Saline Valley.
Well then, we've come to the end of yet another installment of the Airforums Photo Of The Month. To the winner, a not so crisp FIVE DOLLAR BILL and of course the dubious distinction of becoming the judge of the Photo Of The Month for June. Also, according to sfixx (April's contest Judge), Vintage Trailer Supply has committed to supporting the forums photo contest monthly through the end of this year with a $10 Gift Certificate to each winner!!!
Here now are my favorites, in no particular order, from which I will choose the winner, 1st and 2nd runners up.
I could tell you my favorite of those above, but I don't want to sway the decision of the judge. Let's see if it wins.

Alright now. Let's get things rolling with the 2nd Runner Up. This was really the toughest choice because this morning I had a clearer idea of my choices for winner and 1st Runner Up, but the remaining six were almost too close to call.
I agree it is a tough one, but one of the remaining finalist is still my first choice from its artistic and interpretive merits.

ZEPPELINIUM'S AIRSTREAMIN' IN THE WHEAT COUNTRY OF THE NORTHWEST
Well, I have to reveal that the two most important attributes I was looking for this month were balance, and (black /white) contrast. This image excels at both. Interestingly, this photo was entered in the July '06 contest along with another - more colorful - photo by zeppelinium. Zep's color image won that month, but I was of the opinion that this one was maybe more deserving. Well, I can finally sleep at night. Congratulations Roger.
Thanks, one and all. I have to tell you my favorite was the view from the "slot" windows. Very Airstream! I'm going to be off line the second half of the month, so maybe I'll have to trade duties somehow with next month's winner. Anyone know who that is?
That is such an awful picture. It might seem ghoulish when folks here on the Forums ask "what happened?" but I think all of us want to learn from what has happened to others. So, if you've got any more details about the accident I think we'd be interested to know.
Deepest sympathy for your friend.
Blu_Hwy_Lady,
Thank you. All I can get is wind and uphill. Trailer swaying. Then touching the dirt shoulder and it was all over. Narrow shoulder and a sharp drop off contributed to the total rollover.

Attached to the vehicle means it falls under the policy of the tow vehicle. Showed this to my State Farm agent as a "what if????" - Yep covered by the vehicle. Maybe not in full and they may haggle but I would push the issue.
Excuse me - I don't want to be accused of hijacking a thread - back to the pictures.
Mike,
Thanks, I'll make sure the owner knows.
