Very nice, Hans. That's the kind of winter I hope to get back to when the border opens.

Comforters, yes, but that rug also looks pretty darn cushy.
Looks like this week's weather has inspired a few "sleeping beauty" shots. Good ones!

So...
My world imploded and a buddy up east of Fargo bulldozed out a parking tab for my '73 27' project / '72 29' parts trailers out behind his house.. .
Amazing that the diesel Promaster got 22 & 21mpg towing these the 220 miles from twin cities to my new camp.
Myself and two cats lived in these for 12 weeks while all my possessions got moved that 200 miles & cleaned / sorted / boxed into a $100/mo 12x25 storage unit (time capsule).
The quickee den & kitchenette from the trailer on the right got migrated to the van as I was getting extreme condensation but it was pretty good living in October... The interior of the AS on the left got partially gutted and turned into a workshop.
Yea, its not a Madison Ave quality photo but it is honest

This is no photographic work of art, but in the spirit of winter camping (and irony), I submit a pic of my trailer, in historic wintry weather in Houston, TX. The generator I might normally use with the trailer is being employed to facilitate our camp-out in the living room. No electricity, no running water--now this is literally camping off the grid without leaving home!

So sorry you have to endure this storm. So many people suffering. A little preparation goes a long way.
Hang in there. I hear it is to warm up!
