Hello Wabbiteer, I am contacting you re: an inspection for a 1966 Overlander. My grandfather (a 96 year old WWII veteran!) has recently moved to a nursing home, and my sister and I have fond memories of the old Airstream of his. Before we invest in the money to trailer it to it's next home in Florida, the question remains of it's overall state and road-worthiness. It has not be entered in 10 years, although up to that point, my grandfather was quite meticilous about it. We would be happy to pay you to go out and take a look, while my parents are in town in early October. It is in Rochester, MN. If you are interested, please let me know and I'll send you the details. Thanks for considering! Carolyn

Just wanted to thank you for your excellent advice on the 66 sovereign I asked about. I have not been able to locate your message again (mostly because I am not very computer savvy). I did want to thank you for the detailed and good information.

Hi Wabbiteer, I'm new to airstreaming but been a big fan for about 8 years now. I'm in the midst of trying to find the right airstream to be my first. I wondered if you had any time to help me inspect a trailer located about 60 miles from the Twin cities. I'm out of the country on business for another month but hoping I can find someone to put their more expert eyes to the task so that I don't miss a potential opportunity.

    Thanks for considering!

Hi Contacted you a week or so about my 73 ambassador. Been having fun getting to know it. It would be great to have someone that knows about these trailers have a look at it with me and perhaps answer some of my questions. I am in North Branch, retired so anytime during the day would be fine. Thank you

Here's a link to the major work done recently on my 1973 Overlander...

Hey Y'all, watch this (shell games) or Shell off after the love is gone

We've almost reached true Winter here so the push was getting the trailer to a weathertight status. I am a warm weather person so you'll probably only hear whining and kvetching until about June!

It's been years and the trailer still stinks - Looks like I am going to cut out the flooring beneath the galley and replace it to get rid of the ancient formaldehyde odors...
