What are these?

I have some mysterious electrical things on my 28' trailer and wondered if anyone knew what they were and how they worked. It has a xantrex 1750 inverter. (Don't know what it is hooked up to) Connections on the front tongue are pictured. The first picture is what I think is a duplicate power cord connection but I am hesitant to hook it up. Why would it have a duplicate plug-in? Obviously I am very challenged when if comes to electrical stuff! Thanks for your help.

Hi Slowpoke!
The top picture is for generator connection.
The bottom picture is a heavy duty 12V connection. Probably for portable solar panel or extra battery.

If you want the other end of the battery connection, they are commonly used as quick-connects for jumper cables.
